Dialed collects two categories of data: business data extracted from phone calls to local businesses, and user data collected when you interact with our site.
Business data includes prices, wait times, availability, hours of operation, and other operational information extracted from AI-placed phone calls. This data is factual and relates to the business as a commercial entity, not to any individual.
User data we may collect includes: email addresses (if you sign up for alerts), API keys and usage logs (if you have a developer account), business account credentials (if you claim a listing), and standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited).
We do not use cookies for advertising. We do not sell user data. We do not require account creation to access consumer data pages.
Email addresses collected for price alerts are used exclusively to send those alerts. You can unsubscribe at any time via a link in every email. We do not use alert emails for marketing.
API usage logs are used to enforce rate limits, investigate abuse, and generate usage reports for billing. Logs are retained for 90 days.
Business account data is used to verify ownership, display your listing, and provide your dashboard. We may contact you about plan changes, renewal, or significant data quality issues related to your listing.
We do not sell user data to third parties. Business data extracted from phone calls is our product — it is shared with API customers and displayed on consumer pages by design.
We use the following third-party services that may process user data: Supabase (database and auth), Vercel (hosting and edge functions), Stripe (payments). Each of these has their own privacy policies governing their data handling.
We may disclose user data if required by law, court order, or government request. We will notify affected users when legally permitted to do so.
Business data (extracted call results) is retained indefinitely — this historical dataset is core to Dialed's value. Call audio is retained for 30 days, then deleted. Transcripts are retained indefinitely.
User account data is retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion. Alert email addresses are deleted within 7 days of unsubscribe. API logs are retained for 90 days.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@dialed.fyi. We will respond within 30 days.
Business owners may dispute extracted data points via the dashboard dispute tool or by emailing support@dialed.fyi. We review disputes within 24 hours.

By accessing or using Dialed (dialed.fyi), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Dialed on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
These terms apply to all users of the site, including consumers accessing free data, businesses with claimed listings, and developers with API access.
You may access and use Dialed data for personal, commercial, and research purposes subject to the restrictions in these terms and your API plan limits. You may not:
Resell or redistribute raw Dialed data without a data licensing agreement
Use automated means to access the website beyond normal API usage
Attempt to reverse-engineer the call system, voice agent, or extraction pipeline
Submit false or misleading information when claiming a business listing
Use Dialed data to harass, harm, or discriminate against businesses or individuals
Dialed data is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we achieve ~94% extraction accuracy, data points may be incorrect, outdated, or missing. Do not rely on Dialed data for safety-critical decisions.
Dialed is not affiliated with any of the businesses in its database. Business names, addresses, and phone numbers are sourced from public records. We are not responsible for the accuracy of business contact information or the availability of services advertised by those businesses.
Effective April 10, 2026
Dialed uses AI voice agents to call local businesses and collect operational data — prices, wait times, appointment availability, and similar factual business information. These calls are placed using publicly available phone numbers.
Calls are made during normal business hours. Our AI agent identifies itself as calling on behalf of a "business directory and price comparison service." Businesses may opt out of future calls by saying so during a call, by contacting us at optout@dialed.fyi, or by claiming their listing and managing call preferences in the dashboard.
We do not record or retain personal information about individual employees who answer calls. Transcripts record the content of what was said for operational data extraction purposes and are not used to identify individuals.
Our calling practice is designed to be minimally disruptive. Gas stations are called three times daily (6am, 12pm, 6pm). Medical offices are called once in the morning. Calls average 20–45 seconds in duration. We do not call businesses on major holidays.
If a business does not answer after two attempts, we skip that session and try again at the next scheduled time. If a business consistently does not answer, it is deprioritized in our scheduling queue.
We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable state calling regulations. We do not use auto-dialers for residential numbers. All calls are to business phone lines. For questions or to request removal from our call list, contact: optout@dialed.fyi.
